Domański: public debt may exceed 55% of GDP in 2028

Finance Minister Andrzej Domański warned that there is a risk public debt will exceed the statutory 55% threshold relative to GDP in 2028. The government presented a long-term debt management path, noting that debt levels are rising steadily. Exceeding the threshold would trigger disciplinary mechanisms set out in the public finance law.
