An 18-year-old listed a dress for sale online and received a message from an alleged buyer with a link to a fake website, where she entered her credit card details. Scammers then called her and persuaded her to confirm a code — over 9,000 zloty disappeared from her account. Police warn against providing card data or bank login credentials on sites sent by strangers and against confirming codes by phone.
