Jesus figure damaged in cargo hold during flight from Poland to Tel Aviv

A Polish passenger tried to bring a Jesus figure onto a plane flying to Tel Aviv, but the airline refused and required it be checked as registered baggage. Despite protection with cardboard, bubble wrap and foam, the figure was damaged in the cargo hold. The passenger described his frustration on social media, and the airline responded to the matter.
