Ukraine cuts construction spending to fund military and pensions

Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky said the government is reducing spending on new construction projects and repairs to secure funding for defense, pensions and social benefits. He also acknowledged that some foreign financing did not arrive because Kyiv failed to meet all its commitments to partners. The country's financial situation is described as critical.
