AMD buys World Labs founded by Fei-Fei Li for $8.2 billion

AMD is acquiring World Labs, founded by AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li, for 8.2 billion dollars. Li will become Executive Vice President and Chief Scientist at AMD. The deal is intended to strengthen AMD's position in artificial intelligence and competition with Nvidia.
