19-year-old fired gas gun at train, damage reaches 200,000 zloty
On 19 September around 21:30 near Sucha Żyrardowska, an unidentified perpetrator shot at a train with a gas weapon, damaging windows and wagon components. Damage was estimated at 200,000 zloty. On 25 September, police detained a 19-year-old resident of Żyrardów county; officers secured a pistol at his apartment. The man admitted to the charge of destruction of property of a hooliganism nature, which carries a sentence of up to 7.5 years in prison — police supervision was imposed on him.
