New school nutrition rules: plant-based meals end up in the trash

New canteen nutrition rules took effect in schools this month. A week of observations at a Poznań school shows children are rejecting plant-based meals en masse. "If there's a meat alternative, 100 percent of the plant food goes in the trash," says a cook at a Poznań school.
