Scammers defrauded 27-year-old of 800,000 zloty posing as police
A man from Wrocław believed he was participating in a secret police operation to secure his savings. Scammers impersonating bank employees and police officers convinced him to take out loans at several banks and transfer approximately 800,000 zloty in total. Police remind the public that officers never ask for money transfers or loan applications — anyone receiving such requests should hang up and independently call police or their bank.
