Apple must pay over $5.7 billion for patent infringement against Taction

A federal jury in the U.S. found that Apple unintentionally infringed two Taction patents concerning haptic technology. The iPhone maker must pay over $5.7 billion in damages. Apple has announced it will appeal the verdict.
