Poland's defence ministry to change procedures for shooting down objects from east
Deputy Defence Minister Cezary Tomczyk announced that within the coming days, procedures for using Polish fighter jets and helicopters will be changed. A pilot or operational commander will be able to decide to shoot down a foreign aircraft based on radar data and other information, without waiting for further orders. Tomczyk stressed that Poland cannot remain passive in the face of aerial threats.
