Serbian politicians return to TV debates ahead of elections

A month before early parliamentary elections in Serbia, politicians from the ruling party and opposition participated in a debate on N1 channel—ending a long boycott of the station by the government. A change in television ownership created the opportunity for dialogue. It is a rare case of direct confrontation between both sides of the political scene in recent years.
