Julia from Białobrzegów recovers after heart surgery funded by 11 million zloty campaign

Two-year-old Julia Wróblewska from Białobrzegów had a serious heart defect — doctors gave her only five years to live. Her parents raised funds for expensive surgery in the USA (11 million zloty), but before it could take place, a doctor in Katowice repaired the girl's heart. Today the child is in good condition and is hardly recognizable as her former self.
