Microsoft wants to turn Copilot into a work operating system

Microsoft plans to rebuild the office version of Copilot so it runs as a separate operating system living 24/7 on a user's computer. The new platform will combine Office, coding tools and autonomous AI agents. CEO Satya Nadella calls it "a new operating system for work," and testing will begin soon.
