Warsaw: man ripped necklaces from women on street, barricaded in his apartment

Warsaw police detained a 49-year-old suspected of two aggravated thefts — ripping necklaces from women on the street — and stealing a bag worth over 2,700 zlotys. When officers arrived at his address, the man refused to open the door; firefighters helped. In the apartment, clothes worn during the thefts and others' documents were secured: a passport, ID card, and city card. The man faces four charges, including two aggravated thefts and document concealment.
