Electric car production in Europe gets cheaper, but China still unbeatable

European electric vehicle factories are lowering costs through cheaper batteries, automation and growing production experience. The problem is that Chinese plants still produce electric cars significantly cheaper than European competitors. The cost gap between European and Chinese EV makers remains a serious challenge for the Old Continent's automotive industry.
