El Niño or "Godzilla" may kill 450,000 by February 2027

Scientists estimate that exceptionally strong El Niño could cause over 450,000 deaths from heat by February 2027. The phenomenon is so intense that researchers have named it "Godzilla". The effects will be felt by residents of dozens of countries — from Nigeria to the United States.
