Man stole nearly 2,000 liters of fuel, faking phone payment
On August 13, a Nissan driver pumped over 930 liters of diesel at a station in Ząbkowicze Śląskie and drove off, simulating payment by phone — the loss exceeded 7,500 zł. The same day in Dzierżoniów county, nearly 960 liters of fuel worth over 7,700 zł were stolen the same way. In total, almost 2,000 liters of diesel valued at over 15,000 zł disappeared. On September 15, police arrested a 33-year-old from Legnica county.
