Serbia grants citizenship to businessman Nowinski wanted by Ukraine

Vadim Nowinski, a Ukrainian businessman and former lawmaker sought by Kyiv authorities, has received Serbian citizenship. The decision was signed by Prime Minister Djuro Macut using a special procedure allowing naturalization in the state's interest. Belgrade is known for not extraditing its citizens to other countries.
