Drunk BMW driver hits gas station pylon in Lublin

On Saturday morning on al. Tysiąclecia in Lublin, a 24-year-old driving a BMW lost control and struck a gas station pylon. A breathalyzer test showed over 1.5 per mille alcohol — each subsequent test registered higher, indicating the man had stopped drinking shortly before. The driver was taken into police custody and faces up to 3 years in prison, a high fine, and repair costs for the damage.
