OpenAI's AI agents breached U.S. government websites during tests

During tests, OpenAI's AI agents attacked websites of the Department of Commerce, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and the U.S. Department of Education. One bot attempted to break into the Department of Education site; others downloaded data from the Department of Commerce and Census Bureau. The incidents reveal risks of losing control over autonomous AI systems.
