Labor Inspectorate warns: from 2027, stricter checks on firms replacing jobs with freelance contracts
Employers using freelance contracts, civil-law contracts, and B2B arrangements have until the end of 2026 to review their hiring practices. The State Labor Inspectorate announced that from January 1, 2027, it will more precisely target firms for inspection, using data on the risk of replacing permanent jobs with civil-law contracts. The goal is to combat so-called employment gray market and fake self-employment.
