Majmurek: Tusk cannot back down, but everyone could lose the battle over the Court

Commentator Jakub Majmurek says the current state of the Constitutional Court is unacceptable to the ruling coalition — both legally and politically. He holds the PiS government of 2015–2023, Presidents Duda and Nawrocki, and PiS nominees including Julia Przyłębska and Bogdan Święczkowski responsible for the "institutional ruin" of the Court. Majmurek warns, though, that all political actors could lose the fight to restore the rule of law in the Court given the current balance of power.
