BYD security flaw: hacker eavesdropped on cabin and accessed iPhone data

An Australian investigation revealed serious security vulnerabilities in Chinese electric cars BYD and Xpeng. A hacker was able to eavesdrop inside the cabin and access data from a connected iPhone. Modern vehicles from China collect significantly more information about drivers and passengers than most users realize.
