Same-sex couples with foreign marriages gain tax relief in Poland
A general interpretation from the finance minister on transcription of same-sex marriages conducted in other EU countries opens such couples to tax preferences previously reserved for different-sex spouses. Tax advisers note the new rules may raise interpretative questions and the tax authority's approach could change in future.
