EU unlocks €6.6 billion for Ukraine from European Peace Facility

EU member states agreed to release €6.6 billion from the European Peace Facility, according to EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas. The funds will help reimburse member states for weapons supplied to Ukraine. Hungary had blocked the funds for an extended period before the agreement.
