Poland close to Foxconn deal: EV factory in Jaworzno from spring 2027

The Polish government, ElectroMobility Poland, and Taiwan's Foxconn are finalizing negotiations to be concluded within weeks. Minister of State Assets Wojciech Balczun announced the agreement will be signed in autumn, with construction of an electric car factory in Jaworzno beginning in spring 2027. The deal is to include technology transfer and development of Poland's semiconductor industry cluster.
