Poland may become a major semiconductor player by 2035

Analysts at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego project Poland's semiconductor market will grow from 5.1 billion dollars to 23.7 billion dollars by 2035. Poland has a chance at a strategic position in chip design, assembly and packaging. An additional strength is its leading position in gallium nitride production — a material seen as silicon's successor in modern electronics.
