New test cuts brain tumor diagnosis from weeks to hours

British scientists have developed a diagnostic test that identifies brain tumor type within hours instead of weeks. This allows patients to start treatment much sooner and avoid prolonged diagnostic uncertainty. Faster tumor classification also enables more precise therapy selection.
