Prosecutors drop investigation into Lech Wałęsa initiated under PiS

Prosecutors have closed a long-running investigation into Lech Wałęsa, Nobel Peace Prize laureate and Solidarity legend. Investigators cited numerous doubts about key evidence gathered during the proceedings. Judge Waldemar Żurek said this marks the end of political persecution of the former president.
