Canadian officer stops synagogue attack despite head and torso wounds
Constable Jeff Smith of Ontario stopped a gunman attacking a synagogue, though he was himself shot multiple times — sustaining wounds to the head and torso. Despite the threat to his life, he continued fighting the attacker until a second officer arrived. His actions prevented the attack.
