Ethiopia and Tigray accuse each other of new offensives; 2022 peace in ruins

Ethiopia's government and the political group governing Tigray are accusing each other of launching new armed operations. The 2022 peace agreement, which ended a conflict that claimed an estimated 600,000 lives, has effectively ceased to apply. Both sides are announcing offensives in the north.
