Pentagon: 8 suicide attempts on USS Lincoln aircraft carrier

The Pentagon confirmed eight suicide attempts aboard the aircraft carrier USS Lincoln during a record-long deployment. In August, sailors' families and members of Congress raised alarms about serious mental health problems among the crew, as well as food shortages and poor sanitary conditions.
