Drone instead of fighter jet: US orders serial MQ-25A Stingray tankers
The U.S. Navy has ordered the first production units of the unmanned MQ-25A Stingray tanker. The aircraft will take over aerial refueling tasks from F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighters, freeing them for combat missions. First deliveries are planned for 2029.
