Britain cuts support for Ukrainian host families from £350 to £100

The British government reduced monthly funding for families hosting Ukrainian refugees under the Homes for Ukraine program — from £350 to £100. The program has run since February 2022 and covered 181,000 of 234,000 Ukrainians seeking shelter in Britain. Refugees fear that after the drastic cuts in support, they will become homeless.
