Time crystals synchronize over 40 micrometers distance

Scientists demonstrated that multiple time crystals within a semiconductor can synchronize their oscillations—similar to pendulum clocks that gradually begin ticking in rhythm. The coupling is carried by spin-polarized electrons, allowing time crystals separated by 40 micrometers to synchronize to a common frequency. The discovery may aid in creating future spin-based devices.
