Teacher and student drown in Iowa lake during school trip

A teacher and a fifth-grader drowned during a school field trip to a lake in Iowa, organized by Iowa City Community School District in cooperation with the University of Iowa. Following the tragedy, the school district cancelled all future trips under the School of the Wild program indefinitely.
