Microsoft lays off half of Age of Empires creators, cancels new project
A new wave of layoffs at Microsoft hit World's Edge studio, responsible for the Age of Empires series, with half the team losing their jobs. The series' creative director, who worked at the studio for 16 years, is also leaving. An unannounced new project has been cancelled.
