Tusk intervenes over plan to fell nearly 7,000 trees in Warmia and Masovia
The Provincial Road Authority in Olsztyn plans to remove nearly 7,000 trees along roads in Warmia and Masovia. After a chance meeting with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, voivode Radosław Król prepared an analysis of the planned felling, which has been sent to the head of government. The scale of the undertaking has raised serious doubts about the justification for such mass tree removal.
