Gdańsk: 27-year-old fled in stolen car with driving ban and stolen catalytic converter

Police in Gdańsk detained a 27-year-old who failed to stop for a traffic check and while fleeing in a stolen Opel hit a tree and fell down a slope. The man was violating a court ban on driving and was carrying a stolen catalytic converter in the vehicle. He was charged with five counts, mostly as a repeat offender. The court ordered a three-month remand in custody.
