Moldovan man abused wife and son in Suwałki: faces 5 years in prison

Police in Suwałki detained a 37-year-old Moldovan man suspected of abusing his wife and son — he hit, pulled and verbally abused his wife, and pushed and yelled at his son. The man was charged with abuse; he faces up to 5 years in prison. Officers submitted a request to Border Guard to require him to return to Moldova; the decision has not yet been made.
