Hit police officer on electric cross, had amphetamine, drove without license
On the evening of Wednesday, 23 September, a 24-year-old on an electric cross bike in Oświęcim failed to stop for a police check, accelerated and hit a policeman who was hospitalized with a leg injury. A drug test detected amphetamine in the driver's saliva; alcohol test was negative. The man was driving despite having had his license suspended for accumulating penalty points, and the vehicle was neither registered nor insured.
