Government changes property tax: co-owners pay only for their share

The Ministry of Finance drafted amendments to the law on local taxes and fees. A key change provides that co-owners of property will be liable for tax only on their share, rather than jointly for the whole. The project also simplifies procedures for those buying apartments and houses; it has been added to the Council of Ministers' legislative work schedule.
