Moody's cuts Poland's credit rating by one notch
Rating agency Moody's lowered Poland's long-term sovereign credit rating by one step. Economist prof. Aneta Zelek explained this as a signal for investors to exercise caution toward the Polish economy. She cited rapid growth in public debt over the past decade as the main reason — this year Poland is approaching 60 percent of GDP.
