Polish fighter jets will be allowed to fire without visual target identification
Deputy Defense Minister Cezary Tomczyk announced on TVN24 changes to procedures for Polish fighter pilots. In certain situations, a pilot will be able to make the decision to use weapons based solely on radar data, without needing to approach an unidentified object and identify it visually. The aim is to reduce response time to violations of Polish airspace.
