mBank replaces WIBOR with POLSTR rate for mortgages from October 7

Starting October 7, mBank will use the POLSTR rate instead of WIBOR for new mortgage loans. The change applies to new contracts only; existing mortgage holders on WIBOR do not automatically switch to the new rate. Other banks are also preparing similar changes. POLSTR is meant to better reflect the actual cost of money in the market.
