Polish regulators blocked Zondacrypto's last-minute escape to Cyprus

Insolvent Polish crypto exchange Zondacrypto planned to obtain a license in Cyprus and continue operating within the EU market. Poland's Financial Supervision Authority and Internal Security Agency thwarted the plan at the last moment, acting on information from prosecutors. Without the agencies' intervention, the exchange could have legally resumed operations despite its insolvency.
