Chinese authorities seized F-35 fighter components shipped by UPS through Hong Kong

In late May, shipping company UPS was transporting a pilot canopy cover and weapons bay door from an F-35 fighter from Australia to the U.S. when the package was rerouted to Hong Kong and ended up in Chinese hands. The incident raised serious concerns about the security of military technology. How the shipment was rerouted has not been explained.
