Liver medication withdrawn in Poland: check three batch numbers on packaging

The Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate ordered the withdrawal of three batches of a prescription medication used for liver disease. The drug was found to contain too much of a previously unidentified contaminant. People with this medication at home should check the batch number on the package and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
