Police seek two men in backpack theft and unauthorized card purchases in Warsaw
On 27 July 2026, a backpack containing a payment card was stolen from a train in Warsaw. The perpetrators used the card for unauthorized purchases at several retailers in the city. Security footage recorded two men aged approximately 35-40, both dressed in black — one with tattoos on the right forearm, the other on the left hand and neck. Police from Warsaw Targówek precinct are asking for help identifying them.
