Stanislas Hutin, who exposed torture in Algerian war, dies at 95

Stanislas Hutin, one of the first systematic chroniclers of torture used by the French army during the Algerian war, died at age 95. He documented brutal actions by soldiers in his diary and photographs. He was a pioneer in exposing these crimes to the public.
